My mommy belongs to some IG forums and she submitted my picture to one of them to compete for sitehound of the month and I won!

I guess that means they think I am totally cute! And I won a collar and leash set from Happy Tail Collars!

Here is the page in which my cute face and profile is on ..

It's Benign

Daddy was very happy after he hung up from the phone thing and called mommy right away.

They mentioned my name a couple times and since they are happy I guess it's something good.

Daddy mentioned something about my cyst being benign, yea for me!

Wild Girl Maggie

After Maggie got her teeth pulled and stitched up on wednesday mom and dad were told to not let her run around to much as she could pull her stiches out. Dad didn't understand fully what not let her run around to much ment and Maggie ended up ripping her stiches apart on Friday.

So her boo-boo was open and bleed a little. She didn't have to go back to the vet but has to sleep with a t-shirt on now because she keeps trying to lick the boo-boo. It's looking better and mom said it's scabbed over now, but looks like she will have a scar there.

Her missing 2 front teeth isn't slowing her down any either, she still eats like a piggy.

Bark With A Lisp?

Lance here -

We just got back from the vet, Maggie did not have a good time.

Mom took us in this morning and dropped us off, we didn't like that but she promised that we would be out of there in a couple hours.

I got my teeth cleaned and they told me that I have a little gingivitis on my back teeth but nothing to bad.

They came and got Maggie but she was gone much longer than I was. When they brought her back she was minus 2 front lower teeth and her cyst was gone.

The vet tech mentioned something about her teeth were loose from over crowding in her mouth so the teeth had to come out.

They also said her cyst looked like a wart but removed it nothing less.

Maggie is not feeling well and is putting on her feel sorry for me face, mom and dad are babying her like you would'nt believe.

I wonder if Maggie will bark with a lisp now that her 2 front teeth are missing?

Halloween 2007

Here is a picture of Maggie and me at Halloween this year. Maggie was a Fairy and I was Snoopy.
Maggie has Fairy wings to go with it but she kept shaking and making the wings go underneath her so mom took them off.
I got to sit on the porch with mom for a bit and hand out candy to the kiddies that came. Of course they loved me and gave me plenty of scratches.
Maggie didn't get to sit out there because she was grumpy.

Dentals?

Lance here -

Mom says we are getting a dental tomorrow. Which means we get to visit the vet and vet techs, the vet techs love me and give me kisses and scratches.

Mom also mentioned that Maggie is having a cyst removed, not sure what that is but I think it's the bump on Maggie's leg.

I hope they don't give Maggie owies, I don't like it when people make Maggie cry.

But at least we will get lots of lovin when we get home tomorrow and probably extra treats even!

Why Stuffie Killers?

Why did we name our blog stuffie killers?

Because that is our mission in life, to de-stuff our stuffies (stuffed animals for those not in the know).

We are keeping a running total of stuffies killed and stuffies maimed (missing an ear, arm, leg, etc)

About Us

We are Lance and Maggie, 2 Italian Greyhounds born in December 2004.

I was adopted by mom and dad in April 2005, I was 14 weeks old. Maggie went to another family in February 2005.

After mom and dad had me awhile they felt that I needed a playmate so they started looking for a brother or sister for me.

In mid-June they brought a potential brother home for me but I didn't like him and told him so in no uncertain terms, so the next day they took brother back to his home.

A couple weeks later dad called my breeder and asked if anyone had brought back any of my brothers or sisters (there were 8 of us) and she said someone wanted to bring back a girl. So dad called my sisters family and asked to meet her.

We went on a sunday to meet my sister and I remembered her from our first home and we played and chased each other all over her house. I was crossing my paws that mom and dad would let me keep her. My sister, Maggie, came home with us that day for a trial stay and that was that. Maggie got to stay with us. Yeah!

And the rest they say is history!
